Welcome Bardia Batala!

On Monday, August 21st 2023, Bardia Batala started as an Assistant Professor of General Business for the AECSP Department.

Bardia is originally from Iran where he received his Bachelors of Science in Industrial Engineering from Jaraj Azad University in 2011 as well as his Master of Business Administration – Marketing from Allameh Tabataba’i University in 2014.

In 2023 Bardia received his Graduate Certificate in Statistics Methods and Analyses in Education and Behavioral Sciences as well as a Graduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship from Oklahoma State University. Bardia also got his Ph.D in Business Administration – Hospitality and Tourism Management from Oklahoma State University in 2023.

Welcome Angela Baerwolf!

On Monday, August 21st 2023 Angela Baerwolf started as an Assistant Professor for Social Work.

Angela is originally from Columbus, WI. She received her BS in Education and her MSW from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. She also received her DSW from the University of St Thomas.

Angela began her career as an English Teacher where she worked for the Columbus School District for 2 years, and at St. James School in Madison for 3 years. Angela was a Social Worker for 1 year for the School District of Janesville and for 4 years at Madison Metropolitan School District. Angela was also a UW-Madison lecturer for 3 academic school years.

Welcome Bit An!

On Monday, August 21st 2023 Bit An started as an Assistant Professor, Public Administration for the Public & Environmental Affairs department.

Bit is originally from South Korea. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Hansun University in South Korea, followed by a Master of Public Administration from Arizona State University. Finally, Bit received his PhD from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Bit served as an adjunct professor at the University of Nebraska for one year.

Welcome Michael Knight!

On Monday, August 21st 2023 Michael Knight started as a Lecturer for the Music Department.

Michael has degrees from the University of Iowa (DMA), the University of Georgia (MM), and the University of Missouri (BSE). Michael has previously worked for the University of Missouri, the University of Delaware, Iowa Wesleyan University and St. Norbert College.

Welcome Ruth Hayden!

On Monday, August 21st 2023 Ruth Hayden started as an Assistant Teaching Professor – Mathematics for the Resch School of Engineering.

Ruth received her Bachelor of Science from Norther Michigan University and then went on to get her Masters from University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. Ruth was previously a part0-time faculty member of the Mathematics and Statistics Department at UWGB!
