The Center for BioDiversity welcomes Jay Horn as a Lecturer and Herbarium Curator! Jay comes to UWGB after holding six years of postdoctoral and visiting scientist fellowships at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History. He is a botanist who studies evolutionary biology and flowering plant diversity. After earning a bachelor degree in Plant Science from Cornell University, he went on to earn a masters degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Ph.D. from Duke University. Jay grew up in the greater Chicago area, and developed an early interest in plant diversity during family vacations to northern Wisconsin. Welcome, Jay!
