HR Talent Partner Transition

By

|

As part of an internal realignment within the HR Office, we are transitioning from a four-Talent Partner model to a five-Talent Partner model, which will include two Talent Partner Leads with supervisory responsibilities. This change reflects a thoughtful restructure designed to better meet the needs of the departments and divisions we support.

Our goal is to maintain existing relationships as much as possible while continuing to meet service expectations across all areas. As HR work evolves, especially following the implementation of Workday, our workload, response expectations, and partnership needs have shifted. Expanding to a five-partner structure will help us improve response times, balance workload more effectively, and continue providing the level of service our institutional community deserves.

Moving forward, the Talent Partners and their aligned areas will be:

  • Beverly Majewski – HR Talent Partner Lead
    • College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences
    • Community Engagement & Student Advocacy
    • Enrollment Services
  • Julie Stanelle – HR Talent Partner Lead
    • Cofrin School of Business
    • Compliance, Facilities, and Safety
    • Talent (HR)
    • University Advancement
  • Rachel LaCrosse – HR Talent Partner
    • Athletics/University Recreation
    • Chancellor’s Office
    • College of Science, Engineering, and Technology
    • Marketing & University Communications
  • George Petrie – HR Talent Partner
    • College of Health, Education, and Social Welfare
    • Library
    • Provost Office (including CATL, Grad Studies, OGR)
    • Student Affairs
  • Abi Sense – HR Talent Partner
    • Budget & Finance
    • Continuing Education and Workforce Training
    • Information Technology
    • Student Access & Success
    • Weidner Center

Department assignments will begin transitioning immediately, and we anticipate that training and workflow adjustments will continue throughout December to ensure everyone is set up for success for the new year.
