Reporting the Associate Director for Housing, Residential Education and Camps, the Occupancy and Contract Coordinator will assist in the management of various student support tasks through the management of various student, guest, visitor and summer camp contracts and housing assignments.  This role needs working knowledge of housing assignment software as these contracts and assignments are managed utilizing various software programs. The Occupancy and Contract Coordinator position assists in carrying out the mission and philosophy of Housing and Residential Education. HRE provides housing for 2,200 students during the academic year and more than 2,000 guests during the summer months; and employs approximately 13 full- time staff and 100 student employees. Advises students and families in planning and preparing for living in university managed housing. Directs activities related to contracting and leasing of housing units and making assignments. Serves as a key component of the division’s outreach, both with prospective students and families, as well as collaborating with campus offices. Provides leadership and consultation with sensitive housing-related initiatives and divisional housing-initiatives.
