Reporting directly to the Executive Director for Housing & Residential Education (HRE), the Associate Director of Housing, Residential Education, and Camps position assists in carrying out the mission and philosophy of Housing and Residential Education. HRE provides housing for 2,200 students during the academic year and more than 2,000 guests during the summer months; and employs approximately 13 full- time staff and 100 student employees. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: a) departmental leadership; b) supervision; c) program and community development; d) recruitment, hiring, and training; e) budget and contract management, f) student and camp housing assignments, and g) supplemental responsibilities. The Associate Director serves as a member of the housing leadership team and works to create an intentionally inclusive residential community where all students matter. Directs programs, program evaluation, and personnel management for camps, housing assignments and housing communities. Works to ensure promotion of an inclusive and supportive community living environment.
