The Principles of Supervision and Management (PSM) program is now enrolling for Spring 2026! This professional development opportunity is designed specifically for supervisors across Universities of Wisconsin.
Why Enroll in PSM?
PSM equips you with practical tools to lead high performing, engaged teams. Through a mix of online learning and interactive sessions, you’ll build skills in:

You’ll also connect with fellow supervisors across UWs and gain access to valuable resources that support your success.
Who Should Enroll?
This program is ideal for:
- Current supervisors of staff employees
- Team leads and managers
- Employees preparing to step into a supervisory role
Note: PSM is designed for those who supervise staff employees; some content may not apply to those supervising only student employees.
Program Details
- Dates: Tuesdays, February 3 – April 21, 2026 (no class March 31)
- Format:
- Class 1: In-person in Madison, 10:00am–2:30pm
- Classes 2–11: Online via Zoom, 12:00pm–4:00pm
- Cost: $175 per participant
