The Assistant Director of Student Support Services provides leadership and managerial responsibility for TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) within the Division of Student Access and Success. The Assistant Director is responsible for supervising programs, managing staff and resources and coordinating the activities of the SSS program. This highly collaborative role works across all areas of the university to connect students to all parts of the university to support holistic student success.
UW-Green Bay’s SSS program was awarded a five-year federal TRIO grant in September 2025 to support first-generation students, students from limited-income backgrounds and students with disabilities by providing holistic student success support leading to increased student retention, good academic standing and graduation rates. The Assistant Director is responsible for overall administration and compliance of the federally funded program.
The Assistant Director must possess strong leadership and organizational skills, show flexibility, and strong problem-solving skills. The Assistant Director exercises supervisory authority of at least 2.0 full-time employees.
