Workday goes live in 11 days!
To help prepare for the upcoming transition to Workday on July 7, 2025, we are excited to announce post-go live learning opportunities for faculty and staff to become familiar with Workday. Beginning July 7th, Human Resources and the Controller’s Office will be hosting various Workday sessions, both in-person and virtually, to provide one-on-one or group assistance. Additional sessions may be announced throughout the summer and early fall based upon institutional need. Please see the UW-Green Bay ATP Website for a detailed listing of all available sessions.
For all sessions, don’t forget to bring your device!
Further education for those working more closely with HR and Finance processes will be provided and communicated by UW Shared Services or the applicable UW-Green Bay office. HR Talent Partners will also be spending time within their associated departments to offer additional Workday-related support on topics such as onboarding, recruitment, performance evaluations, and general HR processes.
What other training is required and/or available?
Employees can find assigned trainings in their Universities of Wisconsin instance of Canvas. Additionally, all employees have the option to self-enroll in additional training courses. We recommend that as soon as possible, all employees complete “Workday Fundamentals: Workday for all employees” and all managers complete “Workday Fundamentals: Workday for managers”. Those two courses touch on actions every employee and manager will complete. The full Workday course catalogue can be found here: https://www.wisconsin.edu/workday/workday-training/course-catalog/.
