Welcome Pamela Rivers!

On Monday, April 17, 2023, Pamela Rivers started as an Instructional Designer with the CATL department.

Her preferred name is Pam and her preferred pronouns are she, her, hers. Prior to coming here to UW-Green Bay, she graduated with a Bachelors of Arts from Ball State University, a Master of Arts in Educational Technology from Pepperdine University, and a Master of Arts in English from Arizona State University. She worked as an Assistant Director of Academic Technology and Professional Development at Bakersfield College for 5 years and 17 years as a K-12 teacher.

Pam would like to share that she has a daughter who’s 14. They hope to have a new fur baby or two once they get settled. She also has two sisters and a brother, all who work in higher ed. Pam also won the David Letterman Scholarship for a screenplay she wrote in college. Her hometown is Kokomo, Indiana and she enjoys writing, baking, and traveling with her daughter.  She is also involved in the community as a Sunday School Teacher.
