The University of Wisconsin – Green Bay Police Department is looking for a different kind of police officer. Our department is comprised of sworn police officers, not security officers, who fulfill a different mission with the same responsibilities, capabilities, and training opportunities as local municipal agencies. Community Policing is our expertise and we are looking for both new and experienced officers who are seeking a rewarding community service oriented career and employer. We strive to build confident and competent officers through training, mentoring, and engaging community resources. We are employee driven and work hard to support your individual growth and professional development while you’re a part of our team.
If this is what you are looking for, then we are looking for you. This position reports to the Police Sergeant and enforces laws, investigates complaints and incidents, maintains order, identifies criminal activity, and apprehends and arrest offenders to ensure safety and security on all institutional properties. This is a sworn law enforcement position under the general direction of a ranking officer or supervisor.

To ensure consideration, please apply by Sunday, April 16, 2023.
