The Assistant Director of Facilities for Athletics and University Recreation reports to the Director of Facilities Management and Planning and plans and oversees all Green Bay campus athletic facilities and grounds operations to meet the needs of the university, its employees, and visitors. This position assumes responsibility for managing and maintaining all aspects of sports fields and facilities to include: athletic fields (natural grass and synthetic surfaces), Kress Events Center events, university events, UREC, building and grounds, and Shorewood Outdoor center and cross-country course. This position will serve as the liaison between Athletics, UREC, and the Facilities Planning & Management department, and will assist with long-range planning and evaluation of operations. This position will also be responsible for serving as the institutional liaison to the grounds contracting service, supervise the custodial operations for the Kress Events Center, and will provide support for large-scale athletic and University events held within the Kress Center facilities and grounds. This position will work closely within University Recreation (UREC), Phoenix Athletics, the division of Inclusivity & Student Affairs as well as with the UWGB Community in support of the missions of UREC, Athletics, and Facilities Management & Planning.
