This position reports to Custodial Services Program Supervisor and assists in carrying out the mission and philosophy of the Office of Residence Life at the University of Wisconsin Green Bay; maintains the overall appearance and cleanliness of the Residence Life housing buildings. Work performed in this position includes manual cleaning and maintenance of Residence Life housing buildings. This position is responsible for working collaboratively with others in providing services for a residential community housing. Responsibilities include overseeing custodial services; interviewing, training, scheduling, and supervising student/LTE staff; maintaining employee time records; inventorying and ordering supplies; coordinating recycling, refuse, pest control services, and snow removal.
General areas of cleaning responsibility include, but are not limited to, cleaning offices, housing rooms, public areas/lounge rooms, event rooms, restrooms, and other building areas; maintaining all floor surfaces including mopping, buffing, vacuuming, shampooing, and refinishing; cleaning windows (inside and outside); cleaning furniture; assisting with furniture, moves as required; This position will be required to drive a State vehicle and travel between work locations.
