Under the general direction of the Controller, the Student Billing Manager is responsible for the implementation and enforcement of Regent, UW System and campus policies; the assessment and collection of University tuition/fees; and cashier operations. Additionally, the Student Billing Manager is responsible for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of systems and procedures related to all Student Billing Resources office functions. This position assures that proper internal controls are in place for the Student Billing operations, and also has a key role in the Peoplesoft Student Information System (SIS). This position requires considerable oral and written communication with students, parents, university departments, and state and federal agencies. The Student Billing Manager must exercise considerable judgment in interpreting and analyzing information and developing solutions under frequently changing conditions.
