The Department of Art and Design at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay invites applications for a tenure-track position, with primary teaching responsibilities in graphic design and user experience and interactive design. The Department seeks a candidate who excels in design practice and teaching, pursues professional scholarship and research.
The successful applicant will contribute to an academic unit which is part of the Art + Design Department and includes three other areas, Environmental Design, Studio Art and Art History. The Graphic Design program, emphasis on research methods, process, interdisciplinarity, conceptual design methods, visual communication esthetics, verbal articulation, and training in technology that prepare the student to enter the graphic design and digital media profession. The Art and Design Program has NASAD accreditation.
This position will be responsible for enhancing UW-Green Bay’s mission-driven inclusive teaching efforts and creating and maintaining an educational environment that acknowledges, encourages, and celebrates those with diverse identities, beliefs, and cultural backgrounds.
