Rebecca Nesvet started on August 25, 2014, as an Assistant Professor, Humanistic Studies. Rebecca earned her PhD in English from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She holds a MFA in dramatic writing from New York University and a master’s in English from the University of Wales, and a bachelor’s in English and Theatre from Bowdoin College. She taught courses in English composition, horror and fiction at Chapel Hill. Her research interests include Romanticism and the Victorian era including Mary Shelley, Lord Byron, working-class fiction, travel and exploration. She earned major awards for her playwriting and scholarship. Welcome Rebecca!
