Welcome Lisa Kotecki
Lisa Kotecki started on April 2, 2013, as a College Health Nurse. Prior to starting at UW-Green Bay she was employed at NorthReach Crivitz Medical Center for five years. She earned her BSN at Bellin College of Nursing and her BA in Child Psychology at the University of Minnesota. Lisa’s hometown is Coleman, Wisconsin. She is married to Gary and they have three children.
Welcome Rachel Wussow
Rachel Wussow started on April 1, 2013, as the University Union Assistant Director of Internal Support Services. She was previously employed at Michigan Tech for seven years. She is involved with the American Red Cross and Athletics Booster. She earned her Bachelor’s from UW-Stevens Point and her Master’s from Texas Tech. Rachel’s hometown is Bonduel, Wisconsin.
Compensation and Workload Study Update
To All UW-Green Bay Employees: COMPENSATION AND WORKLOAD STUDY UPDATE
Two informational sessions have been scheduled in April for a presentation by consultant James C. Fox, Ph. D., Managing Director of Fox Lawson & Associates. Mr. Fox has been conducting the compensation, benefit and workload study for UW-Green Bay for the past several months and he will present an overview of the process and the results of the study. The sessions are scheduled as follows:
- Monday, April 15, 3:00 – 4:30 p.m., Christie Theatre, University Union
- Tuesday, April 16, 9:00 -10:30 a.m., Christie Theatre, University Union
The Chancellor’s Cabinet and the Compensation Steering Committee will be attending these sessions as we move forward with this process. Sessions will be recorded and available online for those who cannot attend.

The State of Wisconsin health insurance plans are all offering Health Risk Assessments this year as a wellness initiative. By completing a Health Risk Assessment (online questionnaire and a biometric screening) you are given results and tools to help you understand and potentially improve your health. We can always work to improve the quality of our lives through health and wellness!
For United HealthCare NE, the biometric screening will consist of:
- Blood Pressure
- Body Mass Index
- Glucose (Fingerstick)
- Cholesterol Level (Fingerstick)
*For best results, it is recommended that the tests are taken under fasting conditions (no food for 12 hours prior to tests).
United HealthCare NE is offering a $75 gift card incentive for completing the Health Risk Assessment.

“Step into Spring” Challenge
Step 1: Create a Team consisting of 3-5 members. E-mail the list of members to danielsk@uwgb.edu.
Step 2: Register of the American Heart Association MyStart! website to log your activity.
Step 3: Participate! Log your activities throughout the month of April on the MyStart! website.
Step 4: Earn Incentives! Weekly drawings will be held for participants logging their activities. At the end of the competition, the team with the most miles logged will win a 360° of Wellness T-shirt! Continue logging your activities after Tuesday, April 30 for future drawings and incentives.
