Just minutes away from the Lake Michigan shores, UW-Green Bay’s Sheboygan campus is a city highlight on a hilltop – 70 acres of wildlife, technology, and fun waiting to be explored. The ever-evolving industries of our area provide Sheboygan campus students with a unique landscape from which to begin their college journey. Whether it’s academic, athletic or art-filled – the Sheboygan campus has something for everyone!
Brotz Science Building
UW-Green Bay, Sheboygan Campus provides numerous opportunities to get hands-on experience in a number of unique fields. Faculty are dedicated to working hand-in-hand with their students, and the small class sizes allow for personalized instruction. Students can expand their knowledge and gain skills in unique subjects like rocket building and green energy! These classrooms are housed in the Brotz Science Building, which recently received a facelift in its Center for Engineering Studies.
Athletics
The Sheboygan campus is fortunate to have sports teams that compete against other universities in the Wisconsin Collegiate Conference. The Wombats have a strong tradition of winning, so come on out for a game! Not looking for a competitive league atmosphere? Take advantage of intramural sports such as dodgeball, flag football or volleyball. Get ready for campus bragging rights as you put together your dream team!
University Theatre & Fine Arts Gallery
Students interested in theatre can continue their passions in our Intro to Theatre course or try their hand at auditioning for a local show. Additionally, the music department allows all students, regardless of major, to choose from three performance ensembles and receive credit for their participation. The Fine Arts Gallery is open to the public, providing show experience for local artists, students included. Looking for more? Statues from local artists are located all over campus; take a walk to visit them all!
The Commons
The Commons is a great place to hang out and do a little bit of everything. The commons include vending machines for your snacking pleasure and a charging station to get your devices to full power before your next class! If you’re looking for some free fun, relax and play some pool in between classes or use one of the gaming consoles for a little friendly competition in the Wombat Burrow.
Bookworm Gardens
Across the road from the Center for Engineering Studies lies the Bookworm Gardens. Our friendly campus neighbor is definitely worth a visit! Transport yourself back into your childhood at this whimsical botanical garden based on your favorite children’s books. The Bookworm Gardens also offers classes, workshops, and a dinner series – for adults only. It’s a great place to unwind and make friends!
We can’t wait to get you on campus and show you all of the great places and people that the Sheboygan campus has to offer! In the meantime, chat with your admissions counselor so they can tell you the rest of the transformative experiences waiting for you here.
