Welcome to the UW-Green Bay Instructional Develop Institute (IDI) Call for Proposals Page!

Theme: Moving from Access to Connection

At UW-Green Bay our mission begins with access, but it doesn’t end there. This year’s Instructional Development Institute (IDI) invites participants to explore how fostering authentic connections can deepen student engagement across all modalities and promote meaningful learning experiences throughout every step of the educational journey – in and outside of class. This year’s keynote speaker is Dr. Michelle Pacansky-Brock who is well known for her work with humanizing the educational experience.

Call for Proposals

CATL and the Instructional Development Council (IDC) at UW-Green Bay are now accepting applications for the all-virtual IDI on January 6, 2026. This year’s theme, “Moving from Access to Connection,” invites proposals from faculty and staff that explore how creating connections among students, instructors, and staff can enhance teaching and learning.

There are several different ways to participate, so please apply for the session format that you believe is best for your proposed session. Although the primary audience is UWGB instructors and staff, the conference is open to educators across UW System and beyond.

How to Apply

First, choose your preferred presentation format from the options below. Then, use the “Apply” button to submit your application via the Qualtrics form. You will be asked to provide your name(s), session format, and a 200–250-word session abstract.
