International Students: Test Scores

International students applying to UW-Green Bay are required to submit an English proficiency test score. Students have a number of options for the scores that they can provide. Students must submit ONE of the following tests:

      • If you have completed four years of secondary school in the United States, you will still be required to submit a demonstration of English proficiency in the form of either an ACT or SAT score.  Please note that score reports for the ACT must include the Composite score as well as the individual section scores.  Score reports for the SAT must include the total score, section scores, and the individual test scores.
      • Students transferring from a college or university located in the United States may have their English proficiency waived after earning 15 or more transferable credits and a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.  The requirement is waived upon receipt of an official transcript from the college or university and following a review of the work to confirm the number of credits completed and cumulative GPA earned.

Please note – Visa-seeking international applicants with post-secondary degrees from the United States and/or select countries are exempt from providing English language exam scores (ex. TOEFL, IELTS, SAT/ACT) with their application:
