State Budget Town Hall Recording
Chancellor Miller addressed an audience of 300 faculty, staff and students in the fifth in a series of informational budget “town hall” sessions in the University Theatre on Wednesday morning (June 3). After making brief remarks, he opened the floor to a question and answer session. A synopsis of the budget forum will be available on the UW-Green Bay Inside news site.

Town Hall meeting planned for tomorrow (Wednesday, June 3)
UW-Green Bay Chancellor Gary L. Miller released the following invitation to faculty, staff and students on Tuesday, June 2, 2015:
Chancellor Gary Miller and campus leaders invite you to a Town Hall Meeting at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 3 in the University Theatre to hear comments regarding the budget update, budget process and summer activities. This week is “Employee Appreciation Week” and I want to take the opportunity to thank you for your dedicated service and commitment to UW-Green Bay and the State of Wisconsin. These are challenging economic times for UW-Green Bay. But even in the face of these significant challenges, you continue to do outstanding work for the benefit of our students, community, and state. For that, I offer my heartfelt thanks.
Your work touches the lives of many people every day of the year. We are fortunate to have a talented workforce full of people that are dedicated to advancing UW-Green Bay and the Green Bay community. Leadership Transition
UW-Green Bay Chancellor Gary L. Miller released the following statement via e-mail to UW-Green Bay employees on Wednesday, May 6, 2015:
I wish to announce that Dr. Stephen Fritz has resigned as Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs effectively immediately. I want to express my gratitude to Dr. Fritz for his work during this difficult transition.
I have appointed Dr. Greg Davis to the position of Interim Provost. Dr. Davis will begin his new role immediately and will serve for and indeterminate term. I very much appreciate Dr. Davis’ willingness to accept this critical role as we complete the budget reduction process and look forward to an exciting 50th anniversary year.

Student ‘Town Hall’ with President Cross
UW System President Ray Cross visited UW-Green Bay, March 24, to listen to concerns and suggestions from the campus community regarding the budget as well as share the latest news about the System. A “town hall” meeting with the students was held in the University Theatre at 11:30 a.m. A second meeting was held at 1:30 p.m. for faculty and staff at the same location.
