Married 55 years in 2020. 5 adult children – 4 of them adopted as teens.
Steven Muzatko ’85 Managerial Accounting major. Associate Professor and H.B. Foster Bowdon Endowed Chair of Accounting at Arkansas State University. Recently named the H.B. Foster Bowdon Endowed Chair of Accounting in the Neil Griffin College of Business at Arkansas State University. Muzatko earned a PhD at UW-Madison (’00), and he previously served on the faculties of Winthrop University and UW-Green Bay. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and is an associate editor of the Journal of Information Technology Case and Application Research.
Sherry Sanderson ’86 Biology major with a double minor in Chemistry and Environmental Science. Associate Professor at The University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. “I am the Principal Investigator on a research study that pairs seniors with foster cats from our local Athens Area Humane Society and a local cat rescue group with the option to adopt their cat. The purpose of the study is to determine the impact of companionship from a cat on physical and emotional health. The study is funded by the Human Animal Bond Research Institute with supplemental support from Nestle Purina Pet Care in the form of cat food and cat litter.”
