Wipfli Business Lunch

On Friday, December 6, several UWGB alumni employed at Wipfli attended a business lunch with UWGB faculty and staff. The event started with a light lunch allowing alumni to mingle and connect with each other along with University leadership and faculty. The group was welcomed by Wipfli Partner Dan Pichler to its beautiful location in Howard, Wis. Kari Moody, UWGB director of Alumni Relations, updated the group on upcoming alumni events, benefits and UWGB’s new brand.  Associate Dean for the College of Professional Studies, Lucy Arendt, and Interim Assistant Chancellor of University Advancement, Jeanne Stangel, spoke about the importance of scholarships for our students. In conclusion of the event, Dan presented UW-Green Bay with a check to support their endowed and annual scholarships for students majoring in accounting. Thank you to Wipfli and their employees for supporting our students.  

We hope this great alumni event will be replicated by several other area businesses in 2014.
