We Need Your Creativity – 4th Edition Phoenix PRIDE Shirt!

T-shirtGet in on the creative end of the Phoenix PRIDE Shirt tradition. You don’t have to be a graphics or art major. Have an idea? We want to hear about it. Each year, we create a collectible, limited edition T-shirt that reflects UWGB spirit. Proceeds SUPPORT student scholarships. The design is selected by electronic vote in October and the winning designer receives a $100 gift card to a location of his or her choice and of course…being known as the awesome 4th Edition Phoenix PRIDE Shirt Designer!

There are very few design restrictions:

-One color, front- or back-only design (shirts will be printed in five colors to represent each decade of graduates).
-Include a reference to UWGB/UW-Green Bay
-Design should be relatable to UWGB alumni
-Submit artwork in a pdf file format by September 30 to alumni@alumni.edu

An official logo is not required in the design, but can be requested by contacting Sue Bodilly, bodillys@uwgb.edu. For more information visit Phoenix PRIDE tee.

Alumni volunteers needed

Cellcom RunCare to share your time and talents representing UW-Green Bay and our alumni? We currently have needs for the following:

Women’s Half Marathon Water Station by Bellin Health: Volunteer at our water station in the Women’s Half Marathon Water Station by Bellin Health on Saturday, October 8. The half marathon goes past UW-Green Bay’s campus on Nicolet Drive and is a great opportunity to show your Phoenix pride while cheering on these amazing runners. It’s sure to be one of our most rewarding and fun events of the year! Volunteers typically start at 7 a.m. and are done by 10 a.m. To sign up to volunteer, email your Alumni Director, Kari Moody at moodyk@uwgb.edu.

High School Recruiters: Go back to your high school alma mater or a high school in your community and speak to prospective students about your experience at UW-Green Bay. Students want to know how higher education can help them land their dream job. You are the perfect person to share how UWGB did just that, for you. If interested, contact Alumni Director, Kari Moody at moodyk@uwgb.edu for guidelines on how to make your way back to high school to recruit prospective students.

Alumni Association Committees: Serve on either the Student/Alumni Engagement or Fund Development committees. We need help planning and executing alumni events and raising money to support the scholarships the Association gives on an annual basis. If interested, or have any questions, please contact Board Development Committee Chair Karen Michaels at karen@goldenhousegb.org.
