Winter Break On-Campus Dining

Winter break on-campus dining options:

Common Grounds Coffeehouse and Cornerstone: The full We Proudly Serve Starbucks® menu and grab-and-go items will be available during winter break operating hours. These venues, located on the main level of the University Union, will operate on select weekdays during winter break from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Melt Lab & Fry Shack: The retail dining location located in the lower level of the University Union will be closed for remodeling beginning Monday, January 18. Construction will continue throughout winter break and is expected to be fully functional again by the beginning of spring 2024 semester, January 21, 2024.

Phoenix Street Subs: Phoenix Street Subs, located in the Cofrin Library Garden Cafe, will be offering a variety of made-to-order sandwiches, plus sides and beverages. A new offering called “Rice it Up” will also be available at this location, which includes bowls with white or brown rice and a variety of toppings: soy sauce, Sriracha, sweet Thai chili sauce, edamame, black beans, stewed pinto beans with tomatoes and onions, and tofu. Bowls are available for $5.99 and include a choice of rice, one sauce and three toppings. Phoenix Street Subs will be open on select weekdays during winter break from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
