Jordyn Ossmann sees her pursuit of higher education as a way to open doors for her career. It was important for her to choose a college with a myriad of educational and professional opportunities.
Ossmann’s love of learning and strong work ethic made UW-Green Bay the right choice for her.
Hailing from Reedsville, Wis., Ossmann is heavily influenced by her upbringing in a Wisconsin farming community. She was moved by her love of agriculture to choose a degree in finance.
“Agriculture is a major passion of mine and finance is something in which I am interested so I want to combine the two together in a future career,” she said.
The generosity of scholarship donors Ron C. and Pauline P. Heim, whose scholarship fund was established through an estate gift after their passing, makes dreams like Ossmann’s possible. She is grateful for the opportunity to pursue her passion without the burden of financial concerns and appreciates this recognition of her years of hard work.
She is proud to call UW-Green Bay home. For those considering joining the Phoenix family, she says, “Get excited about your future and the amazing opportunities that lie ahead!”
