1990s
Paul Northway ’90 Majored in Business Administration and Political Science. Paul was recently elected 25-26 Board Chair of the Wisconsin Banker’s Association. The Wisconsin Bankers Association is the state’s largest financial industry trade association, representing nearly 180 commercial banks and savings associations, their branches and 30,000 employees.
Laurie Butz ’91 Majored in Business Administration. Laurie has recently been nominated to become a Board Member on the Green Bay Packers Board of Directors that will take effect on July 25, 2025
Andrew Steger ’93 Majored in English. Andrew was recently hired as the High School Head Coach for Boys’ Varsity Soccer at the Unified School District of De Pere
Matthew Szymanski ’93 Majored in Chemistry. Matthew has recently announced his promotion to the Executive Vice President at Green Bay Packaging that will occur in August of 2025
Ker Vang ’98 Majored in Urban and Regional Studies. Ker was recently named one of “Wisconsin’s Most Influential Asian American Leaders for 2025” by Madison365
Susan Zellner ’99 Majored in Communication and the Arts. Susan recently has been hired as the Associate Vice President of Giving & Engagement at Chicago Botanic Garden

JoAnn Miller ’01 Majored in Biology. JoAnn recently received a “2025 UDL Innovative Practice Award” from the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Awards
Joe Bertler ’02 Majored in Business Administration. Joe recently received a Service Award from the Suamico Village Board for his 5 years of service as Fire Chief at the Bellevue Fire-Rescue Department
Jeffrey Gulke ’03 Majored in Business Administration. Jeffrey was recently hired as the Regional Market Director for Acuity Insurance
Jonathan Wiebel ’04 Master Science in Applied Leadership for Teaching & Learning. Jonathan recently announced his recent promotion as Bay Port’s High School Principal at the Howard-Suamico School District that will be effective July 1, 2025
Kimberly Sandstrom ’04 Majored in Human Development. Kimberly was recently announced by her employer, Bellin, to be given an additional role as a Supervisor for their new Resch Mental Health Initiative
John Laughrin ’05 Majored in Communication Processes. John recently launched his new business venture, Four Leaf Communications, designed to help organizations across Northeast Wisconsin build their brands

Ashley Stankevitz ’10 Majored in Elementary Education. Ashley recently received the “2024-2025 Richard T. Lowery Educator of Excellence Award” from the Nicolet Retired Teachers Association (NORTA) and the Wisconsin Retired Educators’ Association (WREA)
Brian Wallace ’11 Majored in Business Administration. Brian was recently hired as the Chief Financial Officer at On Broadway, Inc.
Jena Richter Landers ’13 Majored in Communications. Jena has been promoted to Communications Manager at UW-Green Bay.
Jason Carviou ’14 Majored in Democracy and Justice Studies & Public Administration. Jason recently received the Credentialed Manager designation from ICMA, the International City/County Management Association.
