Welcome!

World War II resulted in many changes in many places, especially in the United Kingdom. Beginning in 1939, London would be attacked to the point of total destruction. London would show resilience in the eye of war though, and what London visitors see today is a direct result of this resilience.

This site was created to share the information gathered by the UW-Green Bay students during their trip to London over winter break 2015, where they learned about London during the Blitz and post-war reconstruction of London. Here you’ll find personal blogs about some of the museums and other places they visited. Also you’ll find some detailed pages on certain areas of England researched by the students using resources such as the London Metropolitan Archive.
