The American Cancer Society, Colleges Against Cancer is seeking volunteers in the Green Bay area to be a part of the annual University of Wisconsin, Green Bay Relay For Life event scheduled for April 22nd, 2016. Community volunteers lead and organize each local event with the support of Society staff. From assisting with planning the annual event to taking part the day-of, there are various volunteer opportunities for interested community members.
The Relay For Life program is a community-based event where teams and individuals camp out at a school, park, or fairground and take turns walking or running around a track or path. Each team has at least one participant on the track at all times and participates in raising funds to support the American Cancer Society’s mission to finish the fight against cancer. Four million people participated in more than 6,000 events worldwide last year.

You are invited to a Phoenix Bash at the Green Bay Distillery prior to the Green Bay men’s basketball game against UW-Milwaukee on Monday, February 15 at 5 p.m. UWM alumni and friends are also invited so we need to show up in full force! Depending on attendance, we will host friendly competitions between schools so be there to show support for your alma mater!

An all-session ticket will cover all nine games of the tournament, which runs from March 5-8 at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit. Fans can purchase tickets by visiting MotorCityMadness.HorizonLeague.com/tickets and entering “PHOENIX” in the promo code.
Fans purchasing an all-session ticket will also receive a complimentary T-shirt, which will be redeemable throughout the tournament on the Joe Louis Arena concourse.
