The UWGB Alumni Association invites you to join our alumni and community members at the 2013 Scholarship Golf Outing. This is a day of fun, relaxing golf which includes a putting contest, 18 holes of golf with power cart, lunch, raffle, hole events, hors d’oeuvres reception and more. All funds raised go toward scholarships for students attending UWGB. Team play will use a four-person scramble format. Prizes will be awarded to the low gross team and handicap team.

Date: Friday, June 7

Location: Royal Scot Golf Course in New Franken

• 9 a.m.: Registration and Putting Contest
• 10 a.m.: Shotgun Start (Four-person scramble format)
• 3 p.m.: Hors d’oeuvres Reception/Social
• 3:30 p.m.: Awards, Raffle and Door Prizes

You’re cordially invited to the 2013 UW-Green Bay Alumni Association Awards on Saturday, May 4 at the Weidner Center for Performing Arts. The event begins with a reception at 5 p.m., dinner at 6 p.m. with the program to follow. This year, we will be celebrating award recipients Dr. Jerry Blackwell ’78, Kate Meeuwsen ’76, Danny Schulz ’05 and Julie Van Straten ’91.

Spring Commencement takes place on Saturday, May 18 and we are calling alumni volunteers to welcome new graduates into our Alumni Association. If interested in being part of the ‘Alumni Receiving Line’, please contact Director of Alumni Relations, Kari Moody at 920-465-2226 or moodyk@uwgb.edu for more information.

Please join your Alumni Association at a water station serving more than 5,000 runners in the Green Bay Cellcom Marathon, Sunday, May 19. Volunteers typically start at 7 a.m. and are done by 10 a.m. Then, head to the finish line for complimentary food and refreshments.
