Mark King, one of UW-Green Bay’s most prominent alumni shared observations and advice with top Business Administration and Accounting students and others at the annual Business Week Dinner Thursday, March 8.
King, a 1981 business graduate, is CEO and president of TaylorMade-adidas, the world’s largest golf equipment manufacturer.
King addressed an audience of students, alumni, faculty and local business leaders, on the stage of the Weidner Center. He talked about the company’s remarkable recovery from its late-1990s slump and growth from a $300 million per-year operation to a $1.6 billion global giant.

UW-Green Bay students are taking on Broadway with the spring production of Cabaret. The April 20 and 21 performances mark the first time a student production has performed on the Weidner Center stage in more than a decade. Set in the seedy Kit Kat Klub in 1930 Berlin, Cabaret is a musical that will highlight the best of UW-Green Bay Theater and Music. His address will cap nearly two weeks of events provided for UW-Green Bay students preparing for post-graduation opportunities. The event is organized by the Austin E. Cofrin School of Business and Career Services.

It’s been a sweet season for the Phoenix women’s basketball program. Can the Phoenix keep the momentum rolling and make a return to the Sweet 16?
