Comedian Gaffigan to bring ‘White Bread Tour’ to Weidner Center – July 27

Jim Gaffigan: The White Bread Tour will perform live at the Weidner Center for the Performing Arts at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 27. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, April 26 through Ticket Star at 1-800-895-0071 or online at Gaffigan has proven himself a major talent beloved to a wide range of audiences, achieving accolades and awards for his stand-up comedy, acting and writing. His clever, quiet style has made him one of the top five most successful touring comedians in the country today and his CDs and DVDs have reached platinum sales. Gaffigan has had an unprecedented number of appearances on late night’s “The Late Show with David Letterman” and “Conan.” His writing and voice work on the animated series “Pale Force” for Conan led to nominations for both a Broadband Emmy and a Webby Award.  For more information, click here.

Integrys Energy Business Reception

On Thursday, April 18 more than 50 UWGB alumni employed at Integrys Energy and it’s subsidiaries attended a business reception with UWGB faculty and staff. The event started with a social allowing alumni to mingle and connect with each other along with University leadership and faculty.

Donna Sheedy, UWGB Alumni Association President and Integrys employee welcomed the group and introduced Integrys management in attendance. Several individuals from the Integrys management team spoke to the group. Director of Alumni Relations, Kari Moody updated the group on upcoming alumni events, benefits and UWGB’s new brand. Chancellor Tom Harden spoke about the many successes UWGB has celebrated over the past year.  Finally, Integrys CEO, Charlie Schrock discussed the strong partnership between UWGB and Integrys.
