Our Spring and Summer Teaching Press interns have been hard at work on our newest project, Home Again and Again: Recollections, Stories, Guideposts, by Dr. Ann Gentry Recine and Louis Recine.
In Home Again and Again: Recollections, Stories, Guideposts, Dr. Ann Recine invites readers into her chaotic life-well-lived to explore the concept of “home” and how it’s shaped her into the accomplished woman she is today.
By turns charming, instructive, inspiring, and comforting, Recine’s insights as a healthcare professional and homemaker are accessible to any reader, wherever their path has led. Whether she is recounting her tumultuous time living on the University of Wisconsin–Madison’s campus during the Vietnam War protests, playing basketball with monks, or sharing her recipe for Chicken Divan, Recine leaves her readers with the sense that there is home to be found in everywhere and everything.
Featuring Recine’s favorite family recipes as well as engaging prompts for further reflection, Home Again and Again offers readers a rare combination of coziness, empowerment, and gentle guidance to find the health and happiness within their own lives.
Available in September 2024 at Dotters Books in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and via Ingram Spark distributors.
