Dr. Susan Gallagher-Lepak was named the Interim Chairperson of the Professional Program in Nursing and Director of the BSN-LINC Program this past summer. She has been with our faculty since 2003 and served as Interim Chairperson during the 2007-2008 academic year when Dr. Block was on profesional sabbatical. Dr. Gallagher-Lepak is licensed both as a nurse and psychologist with the State of Wisconsin. We welcome her back in the role of Chairperson as she succeeds Dr. Block who is serving as Interim Dean of Professional & Graduate Studies.

One other thing I would like to talk about is that in place of trying to suit all your online degree training on times that you end work (because most people are fatigued when they get back), try to get most of your sessions on the weekends and only a couple of courses in weekdays, even if it means a little time away from your weekend break. This is fantastic because on the week-ends, you will be extra rested along with concentrated in school work. Thanks a lot for the different recommendations I have realized from your weblog.
Our online courses are offered asynchrnously allowing students to complete assignments when it fits into their schedules, whether on weekends, late nights or whenever it works best for them. The flexibility allows them to complete the work when they are attentive and not working.
Very nice, thx
Nursing is a profession focused on assisting individuals, families and communities to meet again, achieve and maintain optimal health and functioning. Modern definitions of nursing define it as a science and an art that focuses on promoting quality of life as defined by individuals and families, throughout their life experiences from birth to care at the end of life.
