A display on the use of complementary therapies by nurses was recently mounted in the Winter Garden of Mary Ann Cofrin Hall on the U Wisconsin-Green Bay campus. The therapies displayed are supported by systematic reviews and experimental research. The display describes aroma therapy, guided imagery, reflexology, acupressure, therapeutic touch, and music therapy. Please view the presentation in PDF format.

It is true that acupressure to induce labor can work effectively and happens to be safe and natural. what a lot of people don’t realize that using acupressure to induce labor can also make the labor experience shorter WITH less labor pains.
