Who Was Sylvia Plath?

Sylvia Plath was born October 27, 1932. Her first story was published in college. At first she was a teacher and then she became a full time author. She first got into confessional poetry at a poetry workshop with Robert Lowell. In 1960, she published her first collection. She continued to write many poems, however she struggled deeply with depression. February 1963 at the age of 30 she killed herself.
