Before the final beam of the new Cofrin Technology and Education Center is raised, the University Community is invited to sign a commemorative banner on December 16 & 17. Place your signature on a special Topping Out Ceremony banner that will be displayed during this historic event and in the CTEC after completion!

About the Topping Out Ceremony
On Wednesday, Jan. 7 (11–11:30 a.m.), we’ll celebrate a major milestone: placing the final beam on the new Cofrin Technology and Education Center. This centuries-old tradition honors the construction team, symbolizes progress, and brings good luck for the building and its future occupants. The January 7th event, at the East side construction gate, located on Theater Drive between the Weidner Center and Student Services, will feature remarks from campus leaders and project partners as well as an opportunity to sign the beam.
