AI is already being used in creative and unexpected ways across UW–Green Bay’s campuses. To help faculty and staff learn from one another, CATL and GBIT are continuing the Provost-sponsored Eat & Educate series this fall. The final session of the semester will take place this Thursday, Nov. 20, from 12–1 p.m. in the 1965 Room (University Union) and will be led by instructors from Writing Foundations on the topic of AI and writing.
When ChatGPT was released to the public in late 2022, the Writing Foundations program was at the forefront of addressing issues of academic integrity, creativity, and authenticity. In this session, attendees will hear from Writing Foundations faculty about how they have worked with—and without—generative AI to inform their course designs, pedagogies, and scholarship.
There will be light snacks provided by the Provost’s Office. More information about the fall schedule for the Eat & Educate series can be found on the CATL blog.
