Dr. Tohoro Francis Akakpo, Professor of Social Work in the College of Health, Education and Social Welfare, recently published a scholarly article titled “Postcolonial Influence and Cultural Reclamation: Students’ Perspectives from West Africa” in the Special Issue on Ethnic and Cultural Studies of the Open Journal of Social Sciences. Notably, the paper was co-authored with his son, Dr. Samuel B. Akakpo, of the University of Health and Alliance in Ghana. This joint publication represents a powerful academic partnership between father and son, blending generational insight and shared cultural expertise to explore postcolonial identity and educational perspectives in West Africa.
