Profs. Jun and Vandenhouten of Nursing and Prof. Kim of Philosophy publish article in the Journal of Humanistic Psychology with international collaborators

The article is titled “The Impact of U.S. Army Nurses on the Development of the Nursing Profession in South Korea.” It draws on the firsthand accounts of Korean veteran nurses who served alongside U.S. Army nurses during the Korean War. The article explores how U.S. Army nurses played an essential role in inspiring Korean nurses to raise their socio-cultural consciousness about gender equality and professionalism.
