Dr. Aniruddha Pangarkar invited for roundtable session at prestigious conference
Dr. Aniruddha Pangarkar, Assistant Professor of Marketing, was recently invited to be part of a special roundtable session on “Emerging Technologies and Consumer Well-being- Peril and Promise” at the recently held Association for Consumer Research (ACR) 2023 conference in Seattle. The conference is the top in the world in the field of consumer behavior and is attended by the most prestigious researchers from leading business schools in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Canada, France, Spain etc. At the conference, Dr. Pangarkar spoke about his seminal research on minimalistic consumption, fear of missing out (FOMO) and its impact on well-being, and loneliness that leads to excessive technology usage impacting well-being.
