Reserve a spot today for the all-day virtual teaching and learning conference on Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2026, hosted by CATL and the Instructional Development Council (IDC). This free event is open to all UW-Green Bay staff and faculty and will take place online in a Canvas course that includes both live Zoom sessions and asynchronous content.

This year’s IDI features keynote speaker Dr. Michelle Pacansky-Brock, who will open the event with her address, “Connection as Curriculum: Embedding Humanity in Digital Learning.”

“This session explores what it means to be human in an age of artificial intelligence. We’ll examine how 21st century technologies are reshaping our emotional lives, well-being, and capacity for connection. Drawing on Allison Pugh’s concept of ‘connective labor,’ we’ll discover how educators can transform their classrooms into spaces that simultaneously foster genuine human connection and develop critical AI literacy.” – Michelle Pacansky-Brock

Following the keynote, attendees will join sessions led by UW-Green Bay colleagues that explore this year’s theme, Moving from Access to Connection. Additional schedule information and session details will be available soon. In the meantime, individuals are encouraged to register today and reserve the date. For questions about attending, please consult the conference FAQ or contact CATL (catl@uwgb.edu).
