Gaming in the Classroom series
Instructors and staff from around campus are coming together to share their experiences, tips and tricks for how to use games or game theory to reinforce concepts in courses and help students meet learning outcomes. We’ll kick off this series in November and continue in the Spring 2024 semester. Save the date for the first session on Wednesday, Nov. 29, from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. in the Breakthrough Studio (Cofrin Library, 3rd floor) where we’ll introduce some benefits of playing games within classes. Then, Professor Juli Case and Professor Chris Williams will lead us through a social deduction game, Werewolf, and finally, we’ll discuss as a group about our experiences playing the game. This event is free, but registration is appreciated!
