The deadline to apply to present at the 2026 Instructional Development Institute (IDI) has been extended to Monday, November 10, 2025. The Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning (CATL) and the Instructional Development Council (IDC) continue to welcome proposals from UW-Green Bay faculty and staff for this all-day virtual conference focused on the theme “Moving from Access to Connection.”

This year’s IDI theme asks participants to explore how fostering authentic connections can deepen student engagement across modalities and create more meaningful learning experiences both inside and outside of the classroom.

Faculty and staff have multiple presentation options available, including synchronous live sessions and asynchronous on-demand formats. Presenters can participate individually (choosing either a 20-minute or 45-minute session) or gather colleagues and apply as a group for a 45-minute presentation. Those unable to commit to a live session on January 6 may consider the asynchronous option, which allows presenters to share their work through pre-recorded presentations, digital posters, or interactive materials. Interested faculty and staff are encouraged to review the full call for proposals before submitting an application.

Questions regarding the call for proposals may be directed to CATL@uwgb.edu.
