As discussed at this month’s Coffee Break, IT and Marketing are beginning to explore the development of a UW-Green Bay Intranet for faculty and staff. Our goal is to provide an intranet that does the following:
- Serves as a central hub: Be the source of truth for policies, procedures, forms, training, etc.
- Supports internal communications: Provides news and events, allowing employees to engage with the content and reduce the use of emails.
- Support culture and community: Share our core values, mission, and strategic initiatives.
With a single point of entry, this intranet will aim to improve the faculty and staff connections by aggregating work-related information, communication, and tools.
This collaborative project is in its infancy. The team will be seeking your input as they begin developing the early stages of this multiyear project.
