Hundreds participate in UW-Green Bay’s Day of Service
This past October, students, faculty and staff of the Green Bay campuses gave back to the communities they serve through UW-Green Bay’s Day of Service. This was the third year Day of Service took place, and the event grows bigger with every year. It was a resounding success with more than 270 students and employees participating and giving more than 475 hours of service back to the community. The UW-Green Bay volunteers, pulled from across campuses, collaborated with over 20 different causes and agencies. Even with the large push from Day of Service, there are still many different opportunities to give back to the community year-round. To get involved, and continue making a difference, visit the Community University Engagement at Green Bay site to see how you can volunteer.
