Prof. Weinschenk publishes with undergrad students

Professor Aaron Weinschenk (Political Science) recently had an article accepted for publication with the 2023 cohort of his political science research lab students (his co-authors on the paper are all current or former UWGB undergraduate students–Isaac Erickson, Kaleigh Gale, Chloe Halford, James Harris, Alex Lange, Zea Miller, Ella Schwantes, Alax Stylinson, Connor Tenor, and Lucas Weisshappel). This marks the third group of students Weinschenk has worked with over the past several years and the third peer-reviewed article that the lab has produced. The article will be published in the journal Politics and the Life Sciences (Cambridge University Press) in the Spring 2026 issue and is entitled “General Anxiety, Political Anxiety, and Support for Conspiracy Theories.”
