In the first-ever “Wrestler Wroundtable”, Dr. Bryan Carr (COMM, ITADS, WGSS) is joined by four pro wrestlers from local promotion Hybrid Wrestling Entertainment – Josie “Ice Box” Valentine, “Marvelous” Ethen Matthews, Sam Eli and Kujo “The Mad Dog Of War” to tell all about working in one of America’s greatest artforms. Learn what it takes to become an indie wrestler, the inspirations and goals that motivate these powerful folks, and the very real lives they lead outside of the ring in our community. It’s a funny, often moving, and occasionally out of control conversation that can only happen live on Serious Fun – and a great warmup for HWE’s next show, Path to the Bash, October 24th at the Badger State Brewing Barrel Haus.
