AI is already being used in creative and unexpected ways across UW-Green Bay. To help faculty and staff learn from one another, UW-Green Bay’s Division of Information Technology (GBIT) and the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning (CATL) are continuing the Provost-sponsored Eat & Educate series this fall.
At October’s session, Research and Instruction Librarian Jodi Pierre will explore some methods and limitations of discerning AI-generated content, emphasizing the role of information literacy in navigating and evaluating online information.
When: Thursday, Oct. 30, from 12 – 1 p.m.
Where: 1965 Room (University Union)
Will there be snacks?: Of course! Light snacks provided by the Provost Office.
All UWGB employees are welcome to attend and are encouraged to bring their ideas and questions! More information about the Eat & Educate series can be found on the CATL blog. If you have questions or need accommodations for this event, please email CATL (CATL@uwgb.edu).
