The second session in CATL’s “Assessment in the Digital Age” fall series will feature an instructor-led panel on “Exploring Alternative Assessments Across Disciplines,” held on Friday, Oct. 10, from 9–10 a.m. via Zoom. In this session, Paul Belanger (CAHSS), Shara Cherniak (CHESW), Susan Major (CSB), and Aaron Weinschenk (CAHSS) will share their classroom strategies with a focus on how they have adapted their assessments to address the dynamic landscape of teaching in the age of generative artificial intelligence. The panel discussion will be facilitated by CATL Faculty Consultant Kris Purzycki and will also consider some of the motivations for and impacts of alternative assessments on teaching and learning today.
All faculty and staff are welcome to attend! Outlook invitations for this event have already been sent by the Provost’s Office, so accept the invite to add it to your calendar and join using the Zoom meeting link.
