Cooking up Change with the Campus Cupboard and Student Engagement

The Campus Cupboard & Clothes Closet at UW-Green Bay is embarking on an exciting new chapter by transitioning its operations to the Student Engagement Center. Wyatt Young, youngw@uwgb.edu, will be the primary contact regarding Campus Cupboard operations.

What is the Campus Cupboard?

The Campus Cupboard is a vital resource that offers both perishable and non-perishable foods, clothing, cleaning supplies, and personal hygiene products to our community. Its mission is to ensure that the basic needs of the UW-Green Bay community are met, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.

In the 2023-2024 academic year, 549 unique students swiped in to utilize the Campus Cupboard & Clothes Closet at the Green Bay Campus.

The Campus Cupboard on the Green Bay Campus is located in  Rose Hall 140 (in the corridor section between Wood and Rose Halls). Donations can be dropped off within RH 140 to the first room on the right (The Donation Room), or in the Student Engagement Center located in the University Union Room 150. For those who prefer to schedule a donation drop-off, you can email campuscupboard@uwgb.edu.

How to Access the Cupboard

To gain entry, simply swipe your ID at the door. This not only unlocks the door but also helps track the number of users.

Meet Wyatt Young & Abbi Pflum

Wyatt Young, Student Engagement Center Program Coordinator, is the primary contact for any questions or concerns. Abbi Pflum, Campus Compact AmeriCorps VISTA member, is serving through the Student Engagement Center and will focus on creating sustainable processes and grant writing for the Campus Cupboard. Wyatt and Abbi are dedicated to ensuring that the Cupboard runs smoothly and that the needs of the UW-Green Bay community are met.
